These vaccines are a new technology and were fast tracked so the trials were not extensive. That said, some things are tested so long those of who may need it will die first.

I am out and about a lot despite being elderly. Masks are worn improperly, wiping is haphazard, no idea who or what touched surfaces in general.

No meaningful information is ever given, just "alarming" numbers with no explanation.

The hospital liaison committee will supposedly now help find a doctor and hospital if you need help. I always felt the HLC was mostly a blood enforcement scenario.

my jw mom just died last week, about 6 1/2 months after my non jw dad died (dehydration, starvation, imo) i was the executor of that will.

before a month had passed of his death, my dad & mom's will was changed.

i didn't know until she died.

He will not represent what a lot of us want. I have a representstive and senator who seldom ornever have my iinterests at heart.

His speech after the electors met told the truth about unifying. And the electors have not been accepted by the senate until January.

Trump probably will not prevail but Mrs. Joe should not unpack too much. Harris will take the spot, and as usual the background handlers will be running the show.

i just saw a post on reddit: ‘wt are prepping the r&f for changes in the march/april meeting workbook’.. in the post the person noted what they read (for march 8) and it mentioned bethel adjustments and reference was made to 2015 when bethelites were let go.. if this happens (yet again) another bunch of people are being sent home to fend for themselves in the big bad world at an advanced age with little to no preparation.

even though this doesn’t surprise me, it could not come at a worse time with a global pandemic and massive job loss everywhere..congregations are already in turmoil because of so many who reached retirement age totally unprepared because they were told armageddon would be here before they reached that age.

this is in addition to all the other ‘needy’ and troubled types in the congregations looking for as$istance.. i hope any bethelites there have a plan and some people they can contact.

so the new biden/harris gun policies are starting to appear.

it’s not clear yet, what they will be.. some suggestions; confiscate all guns.------buyback programs in each state.. there is much talk on social media that if this happens, the pandemic, + all the riots, + all the damaged property, + all the annual murders in america, - put together-will be like a sunday afternoon picnic, compared to all the deaths and property damage that will result because of “civil uprising” by millions of 2nd amendments advocates and just plain gun lovers.

Mexico has 1 gun store. Strict regulation. Do you think that stops the cartels? There are stories of mex villages using their illegal 22s and taking back the streets from the cartels ans corrupt police.

Big IF you could guarantee the street gangs had no weapons some of us would consider cutting back. Remember the police have been crooked too.

A reasonable law would be that any crime committed with a gun would go to a carefully conducted trial; then the penalty would be a short drop.

Right now both halves of the US fear a military take over or coup. The other half wants personal firearms to counter that if it comes. That takes us to the 2nd; written so the citizens could have weapons equal to the military. In 1776 the brown bess was the state of art infantry weapon, complete with a supply of ammunition. Now it is an AK 47 which we are not allowed to own despite all the muddying over so called military grade guns whatever that means

Dumb Elders

i knew a few pretty intelligent elders .

sometimes i would wonder why they remained as elders or even witnesses because they were successful men who made a good living and were highly respected because of their qualities.. that is a rather small group.

most elders that i know of aren’t the brightest bulbs in the sky.

We had an elder roll a riding mower. Another elder said it was odd that an elder did that as elders are supposed to be smarter.
